Notes From the Shop

Short updates on what we're brewing, throwing, and pairing.

Why We Pair Coffee With Sound

"Sound & Sip" started as a simple idea: the right track changes how you taste a drink. Every week we pick one seasonal pour and one listening recommendation that share a mood โ€” brighter, more acidic coffees get paired with something equally bright; deep, chocolatey roasts get something warmer and slower. Stop by the Home page to see this week's pairing.

Inside the Glaze โ€” Why No Two Mugs Are Alike

Our amber and cyan drip glazes react differently depending on kiln placement, temperature curve, and even humidity the day they're loaded. That means every mug and vase in the shop is genuinely one-of-one. We think that's worth celebrating rather than smoothing over.

Building the Studio Shop Slowly, On Purpose

We're intentionally keeping our pottery and print runs small so quality stays high and every piece gets real attention before it goes on the shelf. That does mean some items sell out โ€” check stock badges in the Shop section for real-time availability.

This journal is actively growing โ€” check back for new entries as we post them.
